PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Piracetam Injection is a parenteral nootropic agent known to enhance cognitive functions by improving neuroplasticity, neurotransmission, and cerebral microcirculation.

It is a derivative of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and is commonly used in the management of cognitive impairments, stroke recovery, myoclonus, and vertigo.

Piracetam enhances neuronal function without causing sedation or stimulation and is often used in intensive neurological and geriatric care.

It offers rapid onset of action when administered intravenously or intramuscularly, making it ideal for acute care settings.

• Presentation: Clear Sterile Solution in Clear/Amber Glass Vial/ Ampoule (customizable as per market demand)
• Available Strengths:
  • Piracetam Injection: 200 MG/ 15 ML
• Route of Administration: Intravenous (IV) or Intramuscular (IM) as advised by physician. To be used after appropriate reconstitution or as per clinical indication and recommendation. Reconstituted as per protocol for injection in country of use. To be administered under strict supervision of a qualified doctor or as per physician’s discretion or decision only.

Side Effects:

• COMMON:
  • Nervousness or agitation
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Weight gain
  • Headache
  • Gastrointestinal discomfort
• SERIOUS (RARE):
  • Allergic skin reactions
  • Hyperkinesia
  • Bleeding tendencies (especially in patients with coagulopathies)
  • Worsening of myoclonus if misdiagnosed
• PRECAUTIONS:
  • Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders or taking anticoagulants
  • Adjust dosage in renal impairment
  • Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless necessary
