PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Ifosfamide is a nitrogen mustard alkylating agent used in the treatment of various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
It is especially effective in pediatric sarcomas, testicular cancer, and lymphomas.
Supplied in sterile pre-filled syringes, this ready-to-administer format ensures convenience, precision, and reduced risk of handling errors in oncology settings.
Formulation & Presentation:
- Dosage Form: Sterile Injectable
- Presentation: Both in Lyophilized & Pre-Filled Syringe (customizable as per market demand)

- Route of Administration: Intravenous after dilution or as per clinical indication and severity. Reconstituted as per protocol Intravenous infusion. To be administered under supervision of a qualified oncologist. (As per physician’s discretion or decision) Administered as continuous infusion, typically as part of combination chemotherapy regimens

Side Effects:
- COMMON:
- Nausea and vomiting

- Fatigue
- Hematuria
- SERIOUS (RARE):
- Hemorrhagic cystitis (risk reduced with mesna co-administration)
- Neurotoxicity (encephalopathy, confusion)
- Renal impairment
- Infusion reactions
- Secondary malignancies (long-term risk)
- PRECAUTIONS:
- Must be co-administered with Mesna to prevent urotoxicity
- Monitor renal, hepatic, and neurological parameters closely
- Ensure cytotoxic handling precautions during preparation and disposal
- Adequate hydration required to reduce bladder toxicity
- Contraindicated in patients with severe bone marrow suppression or existing encephalopathy
