While Amoxicillin targets bacterial cell wall synthesis, Clavulanic Acid inhibits bacterial enzymes that commonly inactivate penicillins.

This dual-action enhances the spectrum of antibacterial activity, making it effective against resistant bacterial strains, particularly in respiratory, urinary, ENT, and skin infections.
