PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid Dry Syrup is a dual-component antibiotic formulation developed especially for pediatric use.

Amoxicillin, a semisynthetic penicillin, offers bactericidal action against a broad range of pathogens, while Clavulanic Acid, a β-lactamase inhibitor, protects amoxicillin from enzymatic degradation by resistant bacteria.

The formulation is optimized for children’s compliance with palatable flavors, convenient dosing schedules, and rapid reconstitution.

It is widely used in the treatment of pediatric respiratory, urinary, ENT, and skin infections caused by β-lactamase–producing organisms.

Side Effects:

• COMMON:
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Abdominal discomfort
  • Mild skin rash
• SERIOUS (RARE):
  • Anaphylaxis or severe allergic reactions
  • Clostridioides difficile–associated diarrhea
  • Hepatic dysfunction or transient jaundice
  • Pseudomembranous colitis
• PRECAUTIONS:
  • Contraindicated in children allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins
  • Use with caution in infants with liver dysfunction
  • Discontinue immediately in case of allergic rash or severe diarrhea
  • Ensure proper dosing with calibrated measuring spoon/syringe
  • Shake the bottle well before each use after reconstitution
